2026 Spring Dinger News
Attention 2026 Blue Ridge Spring Dinger Participants!
A lot has been happening behind the scenes this month and in January we'll really put our noses to the grindstone. Under the 'More' dropdown at the top of the page we'll be posting the microsite with all of the accommodation choices, prices and any discount links or codes to get your housing set up for April/May. Also on that page we'll be adding any other discounts for attractions or sites as we find them. All but one (Elite) team slot are filled, we've designed our player tee, and ordered all our materials from the Asheville Visitors Bureau. With your support, we'll be hosting over 580 players, plus their family members in 2026. Significant growth for our event, so thank you!
We have had a great response from 75+ players from all over the country for our weeklong division with four teams, sandlot-style. Currently we have 48 committed/paid players, giving us 12-man rosters. At this point we'll add future submissions in "fours" to keep rosters even, capping at 60 players total. So if you know of a dugout buddy who hasn't signed up, have them use the link below so they don't miss their chance to participate. We think this will be a great time for all.

Aging is inevitable; but passion for the game never gets old! That's why Dinger Baseball Events provides opportunities for men to participate in our tournaments in 60+, 65+, 70+, and 75+ divisions. What's even better? How about driving a pitch over the fence for a home run at that age? At our Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in Asheville, NC and our newly planned Bay State Bash near Boston, it's a very real possibility!
So what makes Dinger Baseball Events so popular? We're glad you asked! We hold our tournaments close to cities that provide fun things to do off the field, as well as between the lines. Games are scheduled to give guys and their teammates and/or significant others time to explore the surrounding areas, enjoy restaurants and shops, and still play five games over three weekdays. We limit our divisions to six teams and play 7-inning games on fields with shorter fences.
Bring your team to Asheville in April to shake off the winter rust and get ready for your summer league play. Head to Boston in September with your tournament team to firm up your roster and gel before you take on other teams at your World Series event in Arizona or Florida.
If you're 75 or older, play a little sandlot-style with guys from all over the US as part of the Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in May.
